ATC Trading Ring

We have created a world-wide ATC trading-ring and we would love for you to participate.
Here are the details...

Overview

The ACW Trading-Ring is a group of artists from around the world that want to trade ATC with other artists through the mail. Each month you can select from 1-3 people to trade with. Our site will give you the name(s) and address(es) of people in the ring, and you will send your card(s) out to them. By doing so, you name will get added to the list for the next person to send cards to.

For each card you mail out to someone, you will get another card back in the mail from someone else in the trading ring. This will be an ongoing project and the more members we have, the more cards you will be able to swap with others.

We are collecting cards right now and the trading will start within a few months. Be sure to read the details below so you can participate.

How to Sign Up?

It's very easy to get started in our trading ring. Here are the three steps:

1) The first step is to join our site if you are not already a member. This is so we have your address on file, which will be used for the shipping address of your cards. Please keep your address current at all times.

2) The next step is to send one ATC to the address below. This 'entry-fee' card will be kept by our website for several purposes. It can be used to start the ring each month, fill gaps in the trading-ring, replace lost/damaged cards and for other promotional purposes. We are not able to return these cards, because it will most likely be sent out to someone else beyond our control.

3) Once your initial card is received, your name will be added to the list of members in the trading-ring. At the start of each month, you will be sent an e-mail with a link to the trading-ring section of our site. This page will ask you how many cards you want to trade that month and then give you the names/addresses of people to send your cards to.

Each month you be able to trade with 1-3 people in the ring, but there is no obligation. If you wish to skip one month, or for a long period of time, simply don't send out any cards, and you will not receive any in return. :-)

Don't forget to tell other friends/artists you know about this ongoing ATC trading-ring!

Trading-Ring Rules

  • You must be a member of ArtCardsWanted.com so we have your address on file.
  • You must keep your address updated and current at all times.
  • You must be the original artist of the cards you mail out.
  • The cards can't contain any offensive language, artwork.
  • The card must be original artwork, no prints/reproductions allowed.
  • The card must be shipped in a protective sleeve (ie toploader) to avoid damage to the card during mailing.
If any of these rules are not followed, you may be dropped from the trading-ring.
